I’m an only child… enough said. Just kidding. I was raised here in Sonora, California by a seamstress/secretary and a mechanic/car salesman/insurance agent. I grew up in the garage with my dad and watched him rebuild his 1928 Ford Model T Roadster. We went on Rod Runs and to car shows. I owned 16 cars before I was even 16. The best ones I never even got to drive, like the 69’ Mustang Fastback that I spent months sanding in the driveway. I also worked summers in my mom’s sewing and alterations shop. She had me make my own clothes and gave me haircuts in the backyard or “Orphan Annie” style perms in our kitchen. Can you say, “Character building”? I rode dirt bikes and went to superbike races. My family worked hard and laughed all the time. When I graduated high school I went straight to work. I started out as data entry on our first computer…..Yes, I said the first computer. I became a licensed Property & Casualty agent in 1993 and worked as a personal lines agent until 1995 then I transferred to commercial lines. I took some time off to get married to a really cool guy and have two amazing children. Seriously though, my family is amazing. They are my nucleus. Together we love traveling, good food, boating and are huge San Francisco Giants fans! I am a second generation insurance agency owner. I have been the President/CEO of Sonora Insurance Agency since 2004. My staff is the extension of my family. We work hard and laugh a lot. I always tell them that family comes first, insurance second and I try to make all my customers feel like family.

My family has deep roots in this community. Born and raised here in Sonora and graduating from Sonora High School in 1969 means I have seen the transformation of our little mountain town to what it is today. After graduation I moved to San Jose to work at Allstate Insurance. I moved back to Sonora in 1977 and have been here since. I started with Sonora Insurance in 1990. I have 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren. I enjoy vacationing with my family and love my co-workers. I write all lines of business insurance and bonds. I enjoy the challenge of finding the proper coverage for the best price for my clients.

I was born and raised in Merced, CA. I graduated from Merced High School. Shortly after graduation, I joined the United States Marine Corps. I served 4 years at Camp Pendleton CA. and did 2 West Pac floats out of San Diego, CA. Where I traveled all over Southeast Asia. After leaving the Marine Corps I worked various construction and manufacturing jobs. I studied law enforcement at Merced junior college and worked as a reserve deputy Sheriff for a short time. Eventually, I landed a job at McLane Pacific where I worked as a delivery driver for 22 years. My wife (Trish) and I met Pat and Tina around 2001 when Logan and Ian were in preschool. Many family vacations and get-togethers later we have become great friends. I recently hung up my truck driving keys when Tina convinced me I should come to work for her. I am very happy to be a member of the Sonora Insurance Agency family and am looking forward to making many more friends and clients along the way.

I was born in Southern California and moved with my family to Sonora in 1974. I attended my junior and senior years at Sonora High School and worked after school for a local insurance agency. I filed, processed mail and got a taste of the insurance industry. It was also there that I met Buzz McCown, his daughter Tina and Denise Homer. Little did I know that I would be working with them again. After graduation I completed courses at Columbia College and played volleyball. Then in March of 1978 I married my husband Bill and went on to have a son and daughter. By 1983 my mother had started a Farmers Agency and I went to work for her as a customer service representative. There I received my insurance license and began working full time as a personal lines agent. In 2002 my mother sold her business and retired. I left insurance for several months only to find out that I missed working with the public. In 2003 I was back working with Buzz, Tina and Denise and was happy to be in a place where I felt like I was working with family again. My weekends are filled spending time with my grandkids, going on bike rides with my husband and friends, working in the yard and cooking. I am the Sonora Insurance personal lines agent. Our agency has a wide variety of insurance companies to choose from and I look forward to the opportunity to help you find the company that best suits your needs.

I have called Sonora my home since 1974 and I now raise my 2 daughters here in the community that I love so much. My husband and I believe in healthy eating and exercise and raise our daughters with those beliefs. If you are in downtown Sonora you may see us out jogging! If so, say HI! We attend St. Patrick's and love those Ice Cream Socials! I am so excited to be working here at Sonora Insurance Agency! I am the smiling face behind the voice when you first call in. Everyone tells me what a happy energetic individual I am and I always do my best to make sure every customer feels at home.

I moved from San Leandro to Sonora in 1995 to be with my husband. I immediately took a job as a life and health agent thinking that I would do this until I could find something better. I found out that I love my job and have continued in the industry. I have been with Sonora Insurance Agency since 2001 specializing in Life and Health Insurance.

I was born and raised in a small farming community in the Central California Valley. It was a small close net township which all residents installed a great work ethic in their children and were all devoted to family, their neighbors and church. Growing up in a small community especially in the 1950’s taught me values, morals and respect. I attended college in Fresno studying to become a court reporter and soon realized that was not my desire so I switched to accounting. I have worked in the accounting departments of several companies including a TV Station, radio station, hotel, flooring company and even a cotton ginning company. I have been working with Sonora Insurance Agency for the past 10 years and all the employees have become my best friends. It’s a company that has the same values, morals and respect that I was raised with. I am the proud mother of two beautiful daughters, two handsome son-in-law, and especially three fabulous granddaughters. Also “mom” to my tow precious doggie companions, Penny & Layla.
